About the History of Tangkahan

In 1998 there was a movement of young men and women in Tangkahan and its surroundings, which was spearheaded by nature-loving students in forming the Takasima Ranger on April 22 2001 to keep the forest beautiful again. Which is located on the bamboo river.
After that, on May 19 2001, a meeting was held which was attended by the Namo Sialang and Sei Serdang village governments along with officials, community leaders, Rangers and nature-loving student activists to form the Tangkahan tourism institution as the manager of the next Tangkahan tourist attraction which was called Congress 1 also drafted the AD/ART and the board of management of the institution chaired by Njuhan Pinem and Ranger became part of the LPT to this day.
